Research - continents

A continent is one of several large landmasses on earth. They are generally identified by cvonvention rather than any strict criteria, with seven regions commonly regarded as continents – they are (from largest in size to smallest): Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, Australia.

Each continent is so large that there is a huge variety of ways in which people decorate themselves.  Here is just one example from each continent (except Antarctica which has  no permanent human residents):

Africa
Sambaru people from Kenya

Asia
Chinese theatrical costume
 North America
Native American, Alberta, Canada

Australian Aboriginals

South American
Yanomami

Europe
Coconut clog dancer, Bacup
